You recognize who did the theme song for “Six Feet Under”?

I see that Thomas Newman did the theme song for Six Feet Under, who also did the musical score for American Beauty. But I imagine that you are specifically referring to Photek’s remix of the theme song, which is much better than the lame original, and that I wish they played in the show.
On the topic of Six Feet Under, its a decent show. I don’t really watch TV shows but I started renting this because a friend recommended it. Its not something you’re really missing out on if you don’t see it. Really the only TV show that I can say is a must-see is Arrested Development Season 1. It is a very unique comedy that thankfully does not use any laugh tracks.

If you’re going to rent any of the HBO original miniseries, then I strongly suggest The Wire. But there are some really good TV shows. The Office, for one, is just a huge barrel of laughs. There are also many other edgy and provocative shows that will leave you on the edge of your seat. The Shield being one of them. This, along with The Wire, are the two realist cop shows imaginable.
